Facebook has confirmed a massive surge in social network users as part of a new strategy aimed at boosting the social network’s value.
The social network has said it has more than 1.5 billion users and expects to reach 1 billion users by 2021.
Facebook is also working to increase its engagement with its users in order to boost its social network revenue.

“That’s part of our mission.
That’s the value we’re going to continue to add.”
Facebook is building a network of millions of social network profiles that it will use to promote products and services.
Facebook’s chief marketing officer, David Marcus, said during the call that the social networks would be used to improve how users use the company’s products and offer services.
“This will be the way we continue to get people engaged with our products,” Marcus said.
The company also said it is working to improve the social media platform in order “to make it more relevant to the way people engage with the Internet and our world.”
In addition, the company is building an online app to help users connect with their friends, which will allow them to communicate with other users across different social networks.
“It’s our job to make it as easy as possible to find and engage with friends across the entire Internet,” Marcus added.
“As we continue working to grow the value of Facebook, we’ll continue to invest in new ways to improve our users’ experience on Facebook.”
